Flickend
- We have a hotel room in Portland, a Marriott by the convention center. It's not the coolest place in the world, but at least it's handy. I've been going through the Stumptown exhibitor list, and a lot of interesting artists will be there that weren't at SPX. My wallet might not be happy when the weekend is through, but I think I'll be able to get some more good stuff.
- I'm just about done with reading my SPX stash.
- We saw a bunch of movies this weekend. On Friday night, we rented Rebecca (the old Hitchcock movie), which I liked. Saturday night, we saw The Departed (very good, very violent) and Ridicule (pretty good, I didn't like the slam on puns though). Sunday, we saw 49 Up! (always good to catch up with the old gang).
- Fall is here. We drove around a little on Saturday just to see the colors in the trees. This is my favorite time of year: The air is crisp, the leaves are falling but not all of them. Great. I took some photos of a tree a couple of blocks away from our house, but the best light/backdrop was Saturday, when I didn't have my camera.
